Trip To Angkor Wat, November 2011

I went out of Bangkok on the first week of November with my youngest daughter to go to Ban Pakkard, Cambodia. I didn't actually plan to go somewhere far, but something came up, that I never thought would happen. My docs weren't approved to get my visa extension in Thailand (sigh). I couldn't do anything about it, so I finally decided to go on a package tour with four of my acquaintances who had a similar situation as I was. We hired a taxi to Angkor Wat (Wat means Temple) and it took us 12 hours back and forth. It cost me 6,000 Thai Baht for the whole trip to the temple (all-inclusive!). The entrance fee was 700 Thai Baht or $20.

It turned out that it was fun after all! Traveling is indeed a good stress reliever... Here are the beautiful sceneries @Angkor Wat.

Angkor is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. It is considered one of the UNESCO world heritage sites. It was fun. Our visas got sorted out somehow. Perhaps there was a reason why we got stranded 😅 so that we could visit one of the wonders of the world. Looking back, I was thinking if I could just bring a hi-tech digital camera or the latest iPhone to capture the majestic work of art🦋

HIT: The Little Big Club Live in Bangkok

November 17, 2012, at 3pm The Little Big Club Live in Concert was held at Royal Paragon, 5/F of Siam Paragon Mall. This was really a great show! The casts of the show are Angelina Ballerina, Tom The Builder, Thomas, the Tank Engine, Sam The Fireman, Pingu, and Barney and Friends. It was our first family bonding at the live concert here in Bangkok.

The tickets were expensive (3,000 Thai Baht/each). But, it was okay just for the kids.

Our tickets💕

This was the streamer.

Our favorite and very famous characters: Barney and Friends (Baby Bop, BJ, and Riff)

My children before the show start

I love them all!

The Finale: Angelina Ballerina, Tom The Builder, Thomas, the Tank Engine, Sam The Fireman, Pingu, and Barney and Friends

I noticed that some people were just looking for Barney and Friends and not the other characters so they went inside late! The only downside was that it's kinda short of the Barney casts to perform live. And kids didn't like the other not-so-famous performers. But, if you're asking me... I had fun... so much fun to sing along with Barney and friends and my kids. Oh, and my hubby did his dancing and cheering with the casts, too! 🤪😜

I only wish we had souvenir pics with Barney and Baby Bop.. but, the organizer of the show didn't arrange for this, so many kids and parents were frustrated. I am just happy I took a video of them performing live! Oh well~ childhood, I miss it! 😉😍🥰🤗
